A piece of Americana! This is a playfull set of handpainted and glazed black teddy bears made from red clay and produced in Japan. They almost look like mice, but they have no whiskers and only a tiny tail.

Condition: Like new. No chips, crazing, cracks or anything else that was not present at manufacturing. I suspect the cork bottoms are relacement. The handpainting is sloppy, at best, which is typical of redware pieces.

Specifics: approx. 2.5" tall and wide.
