Bottom Number is 6. Machining off set round mark (see pic) is natural to the process.

Beautiful aqua blue green color. Dropped 'a' with underscore. All indicates the age between 1910 - 1923. The link below explains the age indicator very well!

Very nice vintage condition. Hundreds of uses!

I have inherited these Ball jars from great great grandmother. There are several others available. If you're interested in a different number on the bottom shoot me a convo.

Also about 1910, the loop was omitted from the script style. These jars are called "2-L" jars. The "a" in Ball always started with an ascender, and this is called a "dropped a". This script style was used for about 13 years on most of their jars. Sometimes, these are also seen with the underscore disconnected from the word Ball. (2-L "dropped a" jars c1910-1923)

Because I want the best chance for this to arrive in the condition I mailed it I will list one at a time. I will be listing more.
