100% Beeswax -hand poured into a heavily carved European cookie mold.

There's a rose for England, a thistle for Scotland, a shamrock for Ireland and a leek for Wales. All present and accounted for! SIZE: 3 1/8" by about 1/2"

My castings are made from reproductions of the springerle and spice cookie molds carved as long ago as 1500. These cookies were sold at fairs and bakeries, and what a competition for the best cookies there must have been when you see how beautiful and original these molds are.

Because Beeswax has a melting point of 140 degrees F, the casting will not melt under normal household temperatures. I store mine wrapped individually in tissue paper- BUT NOT IN THE ATTIC! I have beeswax ornaments that are 30 plus years old and look like the day I bought them.

Fabulous detail, deeply carved casting in red. Also available in natural and black.
