There are so many elements to this necklace and pendant combo, I’m not sure where to begin! It all started with the repurposed wine bottle cork! I applied a coffee color tint and added a finish coat. The cork is capped with remnant fabric in tones of black, brown, latte, brick and fern. Beadwork using fire polish beads in dark brown and seed beads in olive and latte were applied to add another element of texture and color. The gunmetal chain that dangles from the cork has varying semi-precious stones in earth shades. The pendant measures 5” from the top of the bail to the bottom of the chain dangle.

Now on to the necklace! I felt that the pendant needed some sort of organic necklace to hang from so I opted to use three crochet threads in olive, brown, and latte. The thread was randomly knotted encompassing the seed beads (bronze and olive), semi-precious stones (earth tones), and fire polish beads (dark brown). Hammered pewter cones finish off the necklace. The clasp and ring are sterling silver. The necklace measures 27” not including the pendant.
