This staved teak lidded ice bucket was designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk. The slightly tapered container has its original black plastic liner.

You can certainly use this for your mid-century bar, but it will also serve as a nice storage container for your office, closet or bathroom. Many Dansk ice buckets stack, as you can see in the last image. For more Dansk items in my shop, click here:

Measures 6 inches high overall, 9 3/16 inches diameter; container is 4 ⅜ inches high, 8 ½ inches diameter across mouth. Branded four-duck mark, made in Denmark, early 1960s.

Overall condition is good, with no chips or splits to the wood or along the joins. The lid and handle have a few minor scratches and dents to the wood, with a couple very small losses at the edges. I like it this way, but you could give the wood a light sanding and then rub in some teak oil if you prefer a spiffy surface. The plastic liner shows some wear and scratches, but no cracks or losses.
