A set of Hutschenreuther white cups and saucers in excellent vintage condition.

The Hutschenreuther porcelain factory was founded in 1814 in Northern Bavaria, Germany by Carl Magnus Hutschenreuther (1780-1845). Hutschenreuther had gained experience by working at the Wallendorf porcelain manufacturing company. Following his death, his widow, Johanna and her sons continued to manage the work at the factory. From about 1860 the porcelain produced was hand painted and gilded. The mark of the lion and the name Hutschenreuther became recognized as a sign of excellence in porcelain.

Each cup measures ~2 3/4 inches tall and ~3 inches in diameter at the widest
Each saucer measures ~5.5 inches in diameter
