Vintage quilt top, Hand Sewn and created in the late 30s or early 40s in a festive and vibrant color combination on a pretty peach ground. Measures roughly 64 X 77

Please read entire description - this is a cutter or repair quilt.

Never attached.
This does not have any polyester, flannel, silk or satin, it is all cotton and feedsack material circa 1930s 40s. This is either a cutter or for repair. This is machine stitched and is mostly sound but someone did something rather odd along one edge. Pieces were cut out and additional flaps were sewn on, the flaps make no sense and seem to serve no purpose (see image 5). Stiching failure on a couple of squares, they could be backed and restitched or this can be used as a cutter for another purpose.

I originally bought it to restitch and then never got around to it. Someone who knows about quilting should have a go at it. Pretty peach colored cotton ground makes this a pretty quilt that deserves a second chance.

Condition taken into consideration when pricing this older quilt top.

Great to repair, back and use as a quilt OR hang for an easy and large graphic piece of Americana Folk Art.
