Too pretty. White silk with gold, green and pumpkin thread of streams. This is really too pretty and the condition is excellent.

Fukuro obis are considered formal obis. They became popular in the early 1920's. Having the brocade on one side made them less bulky and more comfortable to wear. They usually have a 3 or 4 ft plain fabric area on the brocade side that doesn't show when the obi is tied.

About 12 inches wide and 11 ft long.

From a now and forever smoke free, cat free household. I get these items from Japan and I have no knowledge of where or how they were stored, however. Sometimes they smell a little moth ballie as they have been stored. I take them out and air them for a few days.

This is a used item and though it is in excellent condition, it isn't in brand new condition. I don't sell any vintage clothing that is not in superb condition.

I've tried to represent the color as true as I can, but I don't control your monitor. I can only go by mine.(and sometimes I can't even go by that, evidently)
