ON SALE - WAS $28.00

This is an Original copy of the September, 1909 issue of McCall's Magazine. The wonderful cover art was done by LOUISE WILLIS SNEAD. Note the Swastika Brooch at the lovely Gibson Girl's Neck.. Before it was corrupted by the Nazis, the Swastika was the symbol for "GOOD LUCK'. You will often see it on New Year postcards. Doesn't the lovely girl look like she could be standing at the railing of the Titanic setting off on her maiden voyage?

This complete antique magazine is chock full of beautiful fashion prints and illustrations, wonderful ads for all kinds of products, including an ad for the relatively new department store, Macy's.

There are many wonderful articles and instructions including:

~How a Smart New York Woman Arranges her Hairs - It has great pics of hair styles and wonderful hair combs.

~An article promoting Socialism.

~Pretty Styles for the Younger Set - Illustrations of fashions for girls and teens.

~A Page of the latest Millinery Styles.

~Lessons in Dressmaking with instructions and pictures.

~New designs in knitted and crochet shawls with instructions and pictures.

~The latest Fashions in Fans with beautiful pictures.

~The children's pages with a story and puzzle game to be cut out.........

AND LOTS MORE.

VGC for its age.
