A beautiful small vase in earthy green and brown tones made in Denmark by Knabstrup Keramik during the 1960's. It belongs to the serie "Knabstrup".

It is made by Johannes Hansen (1903-1995), who was the artistic leader of Knabstrup Keramik for 18 years. This serie was produced during the 1960's, and is named "Knabstrup".

It's made from special kinds of clay and burned at 1200-1300 degrees Celcius (normally pottery is burned at 1000 degrees Celsius). The high temperatures gives freedom to use special glazes, where each piece ends with beautiful, individual expressions. Individuality is the keyword to the whole "Knabstrup" serie.

Excellent vintage condition. No cracks, chips, crazing or repairs.
