I love finding vintage lockets at antique markets and giving them a new lease of life.

This is rather a special one. It was made at the Georg Jensen studios in Denmark and sold in the Georg Jensen boutique in Bond Street, London during the 1950s.

It is hand-engraved with a forget-me-not design, typical of mid-Century Georg Jensen lockets, and is stamped 'G J LTD' on the reverse.

I have teamed it with a tiny fine silver forget-me-not and flower bud I have made, little peridot and tourmaline pebbles and a vintage freshwater pearl from the 1920s.

Inside I have hidden a mother-of-pearl button from the 1930s and a scrap of floral cotton with tiny blue rosebuds.

The locket measures 3cm by 2.2 cm and hangs from a 45cm sterling minibelcher chain.

Meet the owner of silverpebble.
