I'm taking pre-paid orders now for these lovely, hardy, pink lily of the valley plants or pips. These will not ship until late April or early May depending on how the weather treats us here in Minnesota this spring. So far we are having an early spring but that can change anytime. It is possible that I can ship earlier if buyer requests it but I cannot guarantee an earlier shipment as the ground here needs to be fully thawed before the plants will emerge and before I can dig. I can also ship later if the buyer requests a later shipping date. I will keep buyers updated on the growth progress of the lily of the valley and any estimated shipping times. I am taking pre-paid orders so I can better plan my orders and digging times. The number of orders for these pink ones are in limited supply until I see how many of these emerge this year as I don't have as many of these as I have of the white ones. The number of 5 count plant/pip orders I currently have left is indicated in the drop down box under "Quantity". It is possible that I will have more to offer for sale after I see how dense my plantings of these are but if you want to make sure of availability it would be best to order now.

Five pink lily of the valley pips or plants plus a bonus pip dug fresh the day before shipping. They are extremely hardy and grow in all kinds of soil and can take some sun but also grow well in heavy shade. The fragrance is heavenly!! They will be shipped bare root and I will include some planting instructions. You will be receiving plants/pips that are just emerging from the soil and may look like pointy little bulbs without leaves yet or they may have started to unfurl leaves if the spring weather gets very warm before they are dug. It is possible that they may bloom for you this year but there is no guarantee due to the transplanting--sometimes they need more time to recover. Spring, however, is a good time to transplant them for next year when they will give you a beautiful display. They are shipped bare root so they will not come in pots or with soil. Usually the post office does a great job of getting them to you quickly and they stay very fresh. I have shipped many of these the past few years and if they appear dry or wilted when you receive them due to the post office taking too long getting them there, they will recover and give you years of enjoyment. Always remember the saying about planting new perennials--"they sleep, creep and then leap", meaning the first year you plant them they rest and recover and form new roots, the second year they begin to thrive and the third year you are probably dividing them to give away to friends!!
