The pendant on this necklace is fine silver, made from PMC. It started out as a simple doodle but has become a dramatic and colorful piece with the addition of enamel in shades of green. It is hung on a sterling silver neck wire. The back of the pendant incorporates a similar texture and is marked with my Willow and Me stamp and .999FS.

The pendant is 1 3/4 inch (46mm) long and 1/2 inch (13mm) wide. The sterling silver neck wire is 18 inches (45cm).

PMC (Precious Metal Clay) is a medium in which fine silver particles are suspended in an organic binder. It can be worked much like any other clay. Once it has been dried, it is fired at a high heat. The binder is burned away and the silver particles fuse together, so the final product is a piece of fine silver, or .999 silver. For more information on PMC, you can visit the PMC page of my website: http://willowandme.com/PMC.html
