These are a nice heavy weight and have the beautiful gazelle icon seen on many of the Art Deco era items. I cannot tell what they are made of. Could be ceramic, porcelain, clay, resin or plaster. My best guess is they are red clay. They are painted to look like wood. They would work in an art deco, African, Southwestern, 50's Americana or American Indian home. They are very handsome. I have not found a mark as of yet. Bought at an antique store for triple than I am selling. Measures 6 inches high by 3 ¾ inches deep and wide. Very heavy. Comes from a smoke/pet free home.
