Classic beading at the handles and richly shaped bowl and blade make these pieces particularly lovely together together, although they aren't a matched set. The sugar spoon is in the Vesta pattern, by 1847 Rogers Bros, while the knife is in an unknown pattern.

The knife has a rounded tip, and a beautifully shaped blade, very intricate. There is some tarnish, especially on the back of the handle, and a few dark spots on the blade, as well as some minor scratches.

The spoon is older, with a beautiful inscription of "Mary" on it's pointed handle. The bowl of the spoon is marvelously shaped, repousse with lovely curves and flutes. The bowl has some minor scratches inside, and some plate loss at the back of the spoon on the rest, and at the back of the handle.

These are beautiful, antique pieces in lovely, age appropriate shape.

Because of the vintage, well worn nature of silverplate, all silverplate is sold as is.
