vintage 1940's green and cream rayon floral print peplum dress with pressed white collar/ cuffs and darling green buttons in a double row. this is from the very early 40's and there is no zipper, the green buttons are decorative only and beneath them are metal snaps. you have to unsnap the front down to the waist and pull the dress over your head. I later discovered a matching sash to this dress. the 2nd photo was taken before I found it and the full size photo shows the sash tied at the waist. there are no belt loops on the dress and the cut doesn't suggest you need a belt so it surprised me to find the matching sash. I suppose if you don't use it as a belt you could wear it in your hair as a matching ribbon. Anyhow, I have enclosed a detail picture of a small home repair done in the skirt area of the dress and a close up of the cuffs which have a few rubs in the fabric (no penetrating holes though). there is also a tiny yellowish spot at the very top that I think is just from the metal snap underneath, no biggie. this is a beautiful tea length party dress with such an unusual peplum accent. fits an adjustable size because of the pull over and belt-to-fit style but please refer to the following measurements...

shoulder seam to seam (not from sleeve ends): 14.5"
bust: up to 42"
waist: up to 36"
hips: up to 49"
length: 41"
