Doll Miniature Hippocrates Greek Medical Character

Hippocrates of Cos , 460 BC – c. 370 BC, was an ancient Greek physician of the Age of Pericles (Classical Athens), and is noted to be one of the most outstanding figures in the history of medicine. He gave and founded a school that revolutionized medicine in ancient Greece, establishing medicine as a profession.

Perfect for the medically minded person in your life, little Hippocrates is wearing white robe gown with dark blue wrap cinched at the waist with leather sash. I added balding pate, fiber hair, and detailed , hand painted face. For the finishing touch, I gave him his own tiny little version of the Greek Hippocratic oath, and the medical symbol for the field of medicine.

i created Hippocrates out of wood, wire, clay, and paint - He stands a tiny 4 1/2 inches tall, (11.4 cm)
