This is a working Zippo Pocket Lighter from 1953 according to the patent markings on the bottom.(See Picture 3) This model has a 5-barrel chrome plated steel case. This lighter has never been engraved. The hinge on this lighter is not as strong as it once was. The top flips opens perfectly and closes tightly. The lighter insert easily slides out of the case for refueling.See picture 2 for the matching patent number on the lighter insert.

This lighter is in used condition. As you can see from the pictures it does is showing signs of its age. This lighter has scratches, scuffs, discoloring, and rust on the body of the outer case.

This lighter has a brand new flint, it sparks great, it just needs to be filled with fluid.

A wonderful addition to your collection or as a unique gift.
