Wood nutcracker Hussar made Erzgebirge, Germany. Sticker still attached on the bottom. Moving mouth, sword that swings on a metal nail and gold tassel that hangs across his hat. All the hair is still in good condition. A nice wood piece that is functional and a great decoration item. A small chip on the back of the head. Wear on the outside gold part on the left arm. The sticker says Erzgebirge Made in German Democratic Republic Expertic. There is also a sticker from when it was sold in the 70's from the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village

Nearly 11 inches tall.
5 inch long bar that your pull up to open the mouth.
The mouth opens 1 1/3 inch wide.
4 1/2 inch long sword.
2 1/4 inch tall hat.
4 inches across the most wide part of the body.
4 inch long arms.
2 1/2 inch wide base.
