This lone bookend has acquired absolutely beautiful patina over time. Depicting an Asian elephant with a trumpeting trunk (symbol of good luck). Made by Hubley in the 1920s with the number 373 on back. Cast iron with a worn gold finish and some rust, this elephant has excellent detail, showing every wrinkle and fold! Use as a bookend, display figure or doorstop.
