Alright, i'm destashing this one - it's a swell mid-'40s dress from Butterick, and i love that shaped front yoke, but i have another pattern that's similar. View A is a classic shirtdress - buttons all the way down, small pointed collar, self-fabric belt, short sleeves. Views B and C are shirtwaist style, with buttons only partway down, and fabulous chevron-shaped pockets added on the chest (two pockets on B, only one on C), echoing the shape of the yoke. View B has long sleeves gathered to bands, while C has loose 3/4-length sleeves.

Bust 34"
Waist 28"
Hip 37"

The pattern is pre-cut (unprinted) and complete. One piece (#5, the bodice back), has a cluster of rusty-looking holes about the size of pinheads. The skirt front for View B has tiny tears at some of the notches. The envelope is discolored and the front and the back, with some small tears and pinholes along the flap, and tears at the top corners.

1940s dress with shaped yoke, Butterick F 6600, vintage pattern
