Back in the late 40s / early 50s, there was a surge of interest in all things South of the Border which spawned an adjective, Mexicali (as in Coats and Clarks' yarn! Boy, do I remember that stuff.....) Anyhoo, these fab earrings date to that era and consist of tomato red and orange creamsicle beads with brass filigree findings. They move, they're colorful -- what's not to like?! Bring out your fav circle skirt and high heeled espadrilles, and start dancing!!

And while you're at it, check out my other earrings from the same era!
