1945 Spellbound by Francis Beeding Hardback Book with Dust Jacket. Measures 5-1/8" x 8." Contained 192 pages. Written by Francis Beeding. A MYSTERY NOVEL published by The World Publishing Company Cleveland and New York. Tower Books Edition: First Printing January 1945; Second Printing February 1945 and Third Printing May 1945. A story of madness and terror, from which the Alfred Hitchcock film was made, with Ingrid Bergman and Gregory Peck. (Formerly titled The House of Dr. Edwards). A Selznick International Pictures released through United Artists. Condition: previously owned. Dust cover has tears around edges. Pages have yellowed with age; but not brittle. What is interesting on the back inside of the dust cover is stated: Send this book to a boy in the armed forces anywhere for only 4 Cents. (Boy ?????) Great condition overall.
