Yellow Planter 1940s- 1950's Modern Style

This cheery Yellow planter has saw tooth and lines triangular pattern on the top

border and detail on the footed base. It has bold curved ends, yet is squared

off to look symmetrical. Perfect size for forcing paper white narcissus bulbs or

miniature daffodils.

No maker marks; I thought it might be a McCoy piece, though it is not listed

in McCoy's Collector's book. This is a heavy, well made piece and weighs about 2 #.

Would look great on kitchen window or in a colorful pottery collection.

Size: 9.5 inches long 4 1/2 inches wide 3 1/2 inches high

Condition: This planter is in excellent condition, no crazing in the glaze,

no chips or cracks.
