Beautiful Couroc Monterey tray with cypress tree, from 1966. One of the less circulated designs of Couroc. Simple, clean design, lovely.

Design was done by S.F.B Morse who designed Pebble Beach golf course. Stone, wood & metal inlay. A little piece of Northern California :)

Embossed Couroc Monterey, California. Gold label in great shape. Gives story of the design as well as the date.

Couroc was started in the 1940's in Northern CA. They developed a patented process with their composite material used to make their trays which makes them very strong & resistant to wine and other liquids. The company also hired many artists and designers of the time to create their product's designs.

Size: 8.5" square x .75" H

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No cracks or chips. Very light scratches consistent with light use. One small matte area, barely noticeable. Design is crisp & in great shape.
