The art deco lines of this bronze crouching tiger sculpture probably date it to 1920 (post-Qing dynasty). Fantastic patina on this cast bronze. Nicely detailed whiskers, wisps of hair at the jowls, and raised spheres across the back. Raised tongue, verdigris in the mouth. Condition is outstanding as this piece has not been polished or resurfaced. Very likely Chinese. Heavy metal. Dimensions: 4" wide, 10" long from nose to tail, and 3" tall.
