This enamelware candle holder was manufactured in "Czechoslovak" and exported to France during the inter-war period (1918-1938).

The color is a deep blue with a black rim accent (which does have a few areas of wear). It measures 7" in diameter from rim to finger hold. Rust from age is barely visible; with a few dots on bottom and one smudge on the base of the surface bowl. The bottom is engraved in French : imported by France / made in Czechoslovak.

A bit of trivia : the Czechoslovakian boarder areas extended into contemporary Poland prior to 1938 and Oskar Schindler (of the movie) was involved in the enamelware industry in this region during the same time period.
Great little period piece.
