vintage botanical wall hanging, educational poster with red tulip, from Germany
- - - - - -
I absolutely adore vintage educational posters, especially when they're anatomical or botanical!

This one is particularly striking with its bright red tulip illustration – something the Dutch girl in me simply adores! It depicts the growth stages and development of a tulip

The colors are wonderful, a wonderful earthy palette offset by a strong black background –  would look great in a living or dining room or even a home office or studio!

I've seen some similar posters online recently that were reproductions (I think there's an Australian website selling them) but THIS IS NOT A REPRODUCTION – this is the original version in vintage condition!

It was published by Lehrmittelverlag Hagemann in Düsseldorf, Germany. Marked as printed in 1964.

This poster is overall in decent condition with no major tears. It does have some wrinkling and cracks in the color – please look at all 5 photos (I took pictures of the worst areas, see last photo).

Paper is backed by linen and hung from wood dowels.
Poster size: 32.75" wide x 44.5" tall
including dowels: 38" wide x 46.5"

***SHIPPING NOTE: on my larger items such as this one, I will refund the shipping costs if the difference is more than $2.
