Delightful decopauge purse made from an old metal lunchpail! Big raised flowers, possibly papier mache, cascade from the top center to the front and back, with even a few on the sides. Larger flowers are white, the smaller flowers have yellow centers. Set on a background of mottled gray/blue/white painted with lovely green and blue abstract leaves and lightly speckled in black. Light shellacking covers all. The artist, Carol, proudly signed her name to the front.Topped by a three-layer royal blue leather handle that has replaced the original lunchpail metal handle on the metal hardware. Purse is practically a garden party in itself. Perfect for spring and summer.

Opens with two lunchpail latches in front to reveal a luxious inner purse, lined with a green, blue and mustard paisley quilted cotton trimmed in white braid top and bottom. So cute!

Very good condition. The surface is crazed in places but I don't see any nicks or staining. Inside is clean and fresh. There's a little wear on the bottom of the leather handle on one side but overall this looks almost as good as new. I think the crazing actually enhances the overall appearance.

Measures almost 8 3/4" across and 6 1/4" high. Depth is 4 1/4". Handle drop is about 5 1/4".

Shipping within the US is priority at $8.50. Please check my chart for first class international shipping costs.
