A light, comfortable mug just asking to be filled with steaming hot coffee... or hot chocolate, tea, Irish coffee, etc.

This mug was thrown slightly off center for movement and gesture and thin to make it light and easy to hold. The handle is very comfortable with one finger inside and one under. The silky white glaze inside makes it easy to see how much to pour into it. Outside the white glaze blends and runs with turquoise and green glazes. Fired to 2200 degrees with a long heat soak, the melted glazes have time to mingle, run and form tiny crystals, resulting in rich, deep colors. The flared foot keeps it steady on the table or in the truck console.

Approximately 3 3/4 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches in diameter (not counting the handle). White stoneware fired to vitrification (would not leak even if it were unglazed) for strength and durability.

Holds approximately 1 1/2 cups.

Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.

As always, if you pay more for shipping than I am actually charged, the difference will be refunded to you. If you pay less, I take the loss.
