♛The Measurements

About a modern size S; the bias-cut crepe has natural stretch and flexibility but it is not meant to be worn at the max end of measurements for best look
Bust (underarm to underarm measured flat, then doubled) 36" stretches to approximately tight 38"
Waist: 28" stretches to 32" max
Hips: 32" stretches to 38"
Shoulder to hem: 55"

♛The Condition

Very good vintage shape, sturdy and wearable. The rear left shoulder area has several faint grey smudges; we have not tried spot-treating of any kind as sometimes treatments can fade dye, and it is not very noticeable as it is. The mesh on the sleeves has survived surprisingly well for the era, with only two tiny breaks that we could find. The floral ornaments show some light signs of wear at their edges, and the metallic gold thread has age-appropriate darkening and patina. The side hip seams were closed at some time in the past.

Frequently asked questions about jumblelaya

Sorry, each garment in our shop is authentic vintage, dating from between 20 to 80 years old. We generally only have the one piece shown. We do not sew these items ourselves.

If you love it and it fits, consider buying it, since it's unlikely you'll find it again easily.
If it's older than, say, 1964 OR if you feel it fits our shop's aesthetic, absolutely! We pay fairly, generally 1/3 of retail, sometimes even more. Shoot us a note or set up an appointment to sell if you are in the Portland, OR metroplex!
Sure do! Convo us for an info sheet about it.
We do not have a brick-and-mortar shop, but we do have a private studio located on the banks of the Columbia River, directly across the river from Portland, OR. We offer LIMITED appointments currently, due to time constraints. But if you are serious about a piece or pieces you see, let us know and we'll set something up. Shop inventory is generally not kept in the studio, so you'll need to let us know ahead of time which garments you'd like to see in person.
