A vintage copper tea kettle has been repurposed into a whimsical birdhouse. The lime green roof is made of reclaimed cedar and trimmed with copper hardware and a copper and porcelain handle. It would look great as a decorative birdhouse on a kitchen shelf or can be used outdoors as a real birdhouse. (Please Note: If used outdoors, it's important to put it in a shady spot since metal birdhouses can get very hot inside.) The house measures 12 1/2" high, 9" wide and 8" deep with a 1 1/4" entry hole.
