This beautiful hummingbird, sipping nectar from a trumpet vine flower, is created in an Arts and Crafts/ Art Nouveau style. Her mate is also available in our tile section.

This tile is 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" and can be used in a kitchen or bath backs-plash, a fireplace surround , or as a framed piece of artwork.

Using the cuerda seca method popular in the Arts and Crafts era of the early 1900's, Richard lays out his rendering of the bird using wax then applies the glazes. Each tile is done one at a time with meticulous care.

Whether you have an Arts and Crafts style home or just appreciate the beauty of birds, this tile will make a lovely accent.

(the pictured frame is not included in the price but can be purchased separately in our 'Tile Frames' section).
