Antique Mirror Barbola English Roses Round from AllieEtCie

Vintage antique barbola round mirror, c. 1910-1920, found at estate sale ~ Fabulous!

This is such a pretty little mirror, and not easy to find anymore. The flowers are in wonderful soft, muted shades of pink, yellow and a dusty lavender…..just yummy delicious!

The mirror is approximately 8” round x 9 ¼’ high x 1” deep. I would guess, at one time, the wood back had an easel for standing on a vanity, but it is no long there. It looks like it has had its make-shift hanging wire for quite a while.

I think this is in beautiful condition for its age! There are a couple of cracks on either side of the center flower; there is one small chip in the bottom right corner of the mirror, and a couple of minor, expected, scratches in the glass. I’ve also noticed, (if you hold the mirror at just the right angle), there are a few little fingerprints that didn’t come out with a light cleaning. I have mentioned these things only because I don’t want the buyer to have any surprises. However, all of the above mentioned flaws are so very minor, and you really need to look for them.

This is an absolutely beautiful barbola mirror and would look so pretty in any room of the house. I must admit that this is a tough one to part with!!
