This is a really fun pattern to work with. The beads are size 11 pinkl seed beads and the bracelet measures 7 1/2 inches. I use 4lb Fireline beading thread and the clasp is double woven for durability. This is a bracelet that can be worn for special occasions or for casual, as it will go with just about anything. It is also very light weight and hangs beautifully from the wrist.

Seed bead history: About 4,000 years ago, Egyptians used small seed beads to adorn clothing and furnishings, including items that were discovered in King Tut's tomb. Seed beads for bead work in the modern era began in Venice, Italy, when glass makers developed a way to form tubes of glass to make into beads.
