A chunky statement bracelet hung with British coins from 1956-1958. The coins are farthings and half-pennies, which are no longer legal tender. The farthings are particularly pretty, with a little wren stamped on the face. The half-pennies have a ship at full mast. Both coins have Queen Elizabeth II and "Dei Gratia Regina FD" ("By the grace of God, Queen"). The coins are drilled and strung with jump rings to the goldtone curb link bracelet. There are seven coins, which fills the bracelet nicely, but it appears that there used to be a few more. The coins range in color from dark, brassy brown to distressed, tinny silver. A great piece with lots of character. Secures with a foldover clasp.
