I created this set of 40 blocks from fabric that I purchased at the Houston Quilt Show several years ago, Art Gallery Fabrics. This is first quality cotton quilt fabric and is an amazing colorway - it has the peaches/pale tangerine, teals, pinks, grey, lavender, tan and white - amazing together! It is very pastel tone on tone feel in the overall view. I started with approximately 4 yards of fabric and have only a few scraps left!

The blocks are 9" x 9", and I chose the Crossroads to Jericho block pattern, because it makes a secondary pattern, as you see in what appears to be a block in between the 9-patch blocks. They go together beautifully. I have sewn these by machine with peach color poly thread for longevity and strength. There are 13 pieces in each block. This fabric has been washed to remove the sizings and whatevers from manufacturing - I always do this prior to construction.

I have pictured the blocks on a queen size bed. If you choose to make a quilt, depending on the bed size, you can add border fabric (like a picture frame) around the blocks after they are sewn together. You could make a lap quilt, along with other things like a table runner or placemats, or there are enough blocks to make a garment if you choose. Lots of blocks to play with here!

If you are a beginner, these blocks would be a fun project for you! I've done the hard part of choosing the fabrics and sewing the blocks together - you just have to lay them all out the way you like, and sew them together! I will send them in rows in case you want it exactly as pictured, and then you can make some changes to suit yourself.

I ship USPS Priority. I charge actual shipping prices - if I'm a bit over, I will issue you a refund.

I gladly ship International - convo me and I'll reserve the blocks for you and we'll work out the shipping details.
