Cast Iron Smudge Pot. Dietz Highway Torch. Made in USA.

This old kerosene smudge pot is the perfect industrial accent. Filled with kerosene, these were used as a warning flares on highways and railroads at night. They were also used in orchards to ward away frost.

Gold finish, some rust and patination.

It has been suggested that it could be filled with citronella and burned as a patio torch.

I like it as a bookend, a doorstop, a paperweight, an accent piece or even as a vase for an intriguing centerpiece. It could even be made into a lamp.

Weight: 13 pounds

Height: 11 inches

Diameter: 8 inches

****Shipping: Estimate is to California from Georgia. If shipping & handling is significantly less, you will be refunded.
