This colorful Ragtag rug is hand woven on a loom with a cotton warp and up-cycled jersey t-shirts. Most of the jersey has been hand-dyed creating a variegated effect. It is a durable, colorful, and environmentally friendly way to collect dirt and cushion your feet.

I like to think of my Ragtag Rugs as miniature color studies. It's always fun and challenging to weave something cohesive from scraps. This one happens to be inspired by Fiestaware dishes. Each rug is named after a city. Like a magic carpet, it can transport you to another place (if only in your mind). So, step on "Newell" and travel to the Ohio River town where they still make Fiestaware dishes.

The rug measures 21" x 38" and has twisted fringe. I recommend washing the rug on cold and hanging it to dry.

"Newell" rug comes from a pet free, smoke free home.
