This colorway is the result of a customer request. She suggested that my Bollywood colors would probably be a good starting point. I listened, added to the Bollywood the colors of green, blue and purple and this is the result. I'm not all that fond of bright primaries, but consider this a more subtle approach to achieving a rainbow. This braid was dyed in equal increments of the six colors, each being about one yard in length. I can just imagine the varying results different spinners could create with this braid.

The fiber base is pewter which subdues the dye shades and consists of 85% BFL and 15% silk. The extra sheen and softness that the silk adds to this wool is so beautiful and is a dream to spin.

Blue Faced Leicester fiber has a long staple and is a dream to spin . This one is nice and soft and could be worn next to the skin but is especially good for socks, mittens and gloves. This fiber will felt so please use care and wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.
