Darling and scarce 1920s house or day dress, made of what I believe may be a linen or muslin fabric that is a lovely light ochre yellow colour, and with the sweetest pink and blue embroidered details on it. I particularly love the stitched "peter pan collars" pattern at the neckline. Single patch hip pocket. Only closure is a snap (later addition?) at back neck, which, when closed, creates a keyhole. Truly, just a sweet little flapper frock!

Approximate Measurements of Garment (in inches):
Bust: to 40
Waist (natural): 39
Hips/Dropped waist: 42
Below Dropped waist: full (to 52 or so)
Length: 37.5
*garment designed to be worn with looseness

Condition Notes:
For a dress of this composition that is possibly 90 years old, this little cutie is in remarkably intact and wearable condition (though I always recommend storing and wearing such garments with extra care). It is held back from being mint by some subtle colour variation that generally blends quite well, and some more visible pale whitish areas at the underarms and at front left collar (last image); two other whitish spots, one at back collar, and one at bottom back hem). There are dark smudges resembling pencil lead on right shoulder and sleeve cuff. On the whole, though, this is a beautiful garment with lots of charm and interest as a twenties textile with beautiful embroidered patterning. Still, sold as is and as a final sale, so please ask all questions and request any extra photos BEFORE purchase. Thanks!!
