Card is in good condition with some wear. It's either from the early 1920s or 1910s. It is not used, postmarked or stamped.

On the back it says: 1153. Jean-Baptiste Greuze (1725-1805), The Broken Pitcher (in several different languages), Musee du Louvre (Ecole Francaise)

Jean-Baptiste Greuze was a French painter of some renown. Among his paintings are a portrait of Benjamin Franklin (1777), 'The Guitarist' (1757), 'The White Hat' (1780) and 'The Broken Pitcher' (1771). Several of his paintings are currently hanging in the Louvre.

I started collecting vintage postcards a couple of years ago. I hope you love them as much as I do!

Each order comes with a bonus random card from my collection.
