This fun and sweet mixed media daisy girl sculpture is made from a papier/mache sawdust mixture sculpted over a clean recycled glass jar, which has been painted, stained and sealed......that is the flower pot part.

Her petals are made from floral wire, stiffened twisted paper and many, many coats of paint and mod podge, stain and sealer.......her leaves are made of wire, cotton, stiffener and paint, stain and sealer. Both the pedals and leaves are sturdy and flexable. The flower and leaves have a heavy duty wire stem.

Her face is a solid papier/mache sawdust mixture which has been painted, stained and sealed.
She is a total of 21 inches high and about 8 1/2 inches across at her widest.

The bottom of her flower pot twists off to reveal a secret container which is 2 1/2 inches deep by 2 1/2 inches wide. I made one of these for a friend and she keeps it on her screened in front porch and hides a key inside.

This original flowerpot girl would make a very unique gift for a garden lover...or a sweet "get well" for someone who needs a smile.
