The blade shown in the first photo is NOT for sale.
This is a beautiful blade made from pieces all over the world. The blade was forged in a wonderful shop in India. It has a VERY cool twisted pattern blade, made with 3 kinds of steel. Very hard, will hold a great edge. The elk antler handle is made from a piece I got in Michigan. The antler on the stand is from the South Dakota prairie. The other metal pieces are made from 70/30 copper nickle, salvaged from the building of the yahct 'Eviva', which was built in Port Townsend, Wa. The base is made from Oregon, big leaf maple burl.
This is a great display piece. I can no longer forge my own blades without a helper, since my hands are bad. I am still able to fab all the other parts, and make it into one great looking knife! Brought to you by a professional metal smith!
11.5" overall length, blade is 6 1/4" long. the blade design is stunning......
I came up with this knife stand desgn 20 years ago, very few people have attempted to copy it.
