The Kodak Tourist camera was produced from 1948-1951, they were the last in a long line of American made folding roll film cameras from Kodak. Putty colored Bakelite top on a cast aluminum body gives it a very unique look. A smart looking, attractive mid century camera.

The camera is in good cosmetic condition, with normal amounts of wear that come with gentle use. Bakelite top has a few scratches and some dust. Leatherette has some minor scuffs but is mostly clean and intact. There is one noticeable wear spot on the bottom front, but this is covered up when the camera is open for display. The bellows is intact and soft. Some of the paint is chipping on the black painted metal frame.

Working condition: Lens is a bit dusty, shutter works well, and can be fired using the on lens shutter release. However, the shutter release button near the camera is jammed, and this also makes it difficult to get the film spool out. Because of this, I am selling the camera AS IS.
