Tom Clark "Johnny" Resin Gnome Figurine. This is a handcrafted resin shelf-sitting gnome playing a harmonica. Tom Clark gnome figurines are hand-cast from a special blend of resin, crushed pecan shells, and wood chips. Each is then hand-painted, hand-stained, and hand-lacquered.
Manufacturer/Markings: #99 "Johnny" by Tom Clark, The Cairn Studio, 1984. Retired. In great condition with no chips, cracks or breaks of any kind. A charming piece as usual from Tom Clark. Dimensions:4 1/2" x 31/2" x 2".

The Story:

The Woodspirits have a Memorial Day Parade each year to remember the little animals who did not survive the winter. Little Johnny was in it and played his harmonica. When the parade was over, he packed up his troubles in his old kit bag and sang "When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again." Both sides of the same penny are shown in honor of the unity of the North and South
