I threw these kitchen canisters and lids on the wheel using stoneware clay. I glazed the inside and outside in a creamy tan glaze. Then on the outside I added another glaze (kind of a transparent amberish color) which ran down the jar during the stoneware firing.

The tallest (with the lid on) is about 8 inches tall and 5 inches diameter. The opening is 4 1/8 inches diameter.
The middle one is 7 1/2 inches tall and 4 3/4 inches diameter. The opening is 3 7/8 inches.
The smallest is 6 1/4 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches diameter. The opening is 3 1/2 inches.

They are food safe.

The lids all fit great.
