Wonderful Little Antique Children's book titled "A Roundabout Turn" an English Story of a Toad who sets off the see if the World is Round. Written by Robert H Charles.

Filled with amazing art work by L. Leslie Brooke a famous English Illustrator known for he children's book pen & Ink and watercolor works.

Toad sets off on a journey, out of Albury Heath his home, where it was lovely but very flat. It is a cute little imaginative story of Toad's travels, where he finds travel is slow for a toad, and "Inconveniently full of feet". Wishing he had a horse, this adventurous Toad gets his wish, and a Dizzying ride of his life!

This 6" x 8" hardcover book is in good condition, removed from a library, the back inside cover has the library card holder torn off, and any library marks were unfortunately crossed out with a black marker. Tight binding and cover, looks like it was hardly ever read. 28 illustrations, 4 in full color.
