Tall bearded irises are hardy, drought tolerant and very easy to grow. They grow between 28" to 40" tall and after blooming, the leaves remain through the rest of the summer! In colder climates that get 5-6 months of snow such as ours, the leaves die down completely and re-grow in the spring after our melt. They thrive in all types of soils and conditions but do require at least 60% of daylight in well-drained soil to get a good bloom season.

When we state "re-bloomer", this means that this particular variety has been known to re-bloom again in the same year, generally in late summer or fall, after its spring bloom time. In warmer climates, they almost always re-bloom if stated. In colder climates, its iffy if they will re-bloom after they have in the spring, it all depends on Mother Nature.

If a variety is stated as "Horned, Flounced, Spooned, or Space Age" this means that there is another small petal or spike growing off the fuzzy beard of the iris. This is very unique and really awesome to see on a flower.

We'll do our best to accommodate your shipping requests within our shipping schedule (JULY-MID SEPT).

If you're going to be away for vacation at a certain date during this time frame, just let us know and we'll make a note to schedule your shipment to arrive other than during that time. Otherwise, you'll receive an automatically generated shipping notice via email when your order is shipped so you'll know to start expecting delivery. We ship through September 30th.

SHIPPING
Shipping is $7.20 for the first Iris - then $1.00 for each additional iris bought until your order is shipped. This additional fee pays for our labor and cleaning, labeling, and packaging material. If you purchase a listing for a lot of multiple irises, you'll pay the full shipping for the lot, then $1.00 for any additional single iris added through the season.

The best way if you are buying multiple irises from us is to email us for a shipping total so that we can correct the invoice and get the correct shipping total to you. We send out invoices twice a week so you don't have to wait long.

We include extras of our choice, with multiple purchase of 5 or more iris. You're welcome to add to your order between now and when shipping occurs. If you continue buying from us during the iris season and add to your order, and for some reason you get charged the original $7.20 shipping when it should be $1, we will refund the $6.20 back to your account within 24 hours.
SHIPPIN ONLY WITHIN THE UNITED STATES.
