This gorgeous antique trophy dates back to 1906, with inscriptions on both sides, and a very detailed floral design engraved all around the top. It has a wood plinth, covered in black metal, and it's an unusual rounded rectangular shape.

It has a chip in the plinth, and a shallow dent in the floral engraving, but it's not noticeable. It was made in Great Britain, but I can't find any makers marks on it. They must be there somewhere, but I'm stumped. I'm assuming this is silver plate, but I don't know for sure. It has some darkening to the silver around the handles and on the underside, where it's been difficult to clean, so I don't think it's plate loss. I tried to polish those areas, but I think it's more trouble than it's worth. Even with the tarnish, it's absolutely fantastic!

Measures 11" tall to the top of the handles, 9 1/4" wide at the handles, 3 7/8" wide from front to back of the cup, and 5" wide at the bottom of the plinth.
